Harshal Kamble

Final-year Mechatronics Engineering student with hands-on experience in ROS2 robotic system integration, EEG signal processing, Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) development, and embedded systems. Built a hybrid SSVEP-Attention BCI achieving 94-97% classification accuracy for real-time UAV altitude control, and completed a research internship at BARC in cobot manipulation and motion planning using ROS2 and MoveIt.

• Developed native ROS 2 control workflows for a Kinova Gen3 (6-DOF) cobot, implementing trajectory execution, gripper control configurations, and low-latency hardware communication via the Kinova Kortex API.
• Designed joint-space and Cartesian motion planning profiles for automated pick-and-place cycles using MoveIt, formulating forward/inverse kinematics solvers and Jacobian-based control matrices to optimize manipulator trajectories; validated URDF models and controllers in Gazebo/RViz before hardware deployment.
• Evaluated joint torque limits, gravity compensation profiles, and real-time control constraints using the Pinocchio rigid-body dynamics library to support safe torque control on physical hardware.
