As a manager at the District Livelihood Centre, I am responsible for overseeing the programs aimed at enhancing livelihood opportunities within the community. My work involves collaborating with government agencies, NGOs, and local stakeholders to provide training, skill development, and employment services. I ensure that the centre is effectively supporting individuals in securing sustainable livelihoods, contributing to the overall economic and social development of the district.
Additionally, I manage the centre's operations to ensure that our goals are met and that we continue to offer valuable resources to those in need.
I am a highly energetic professional with a strong background in livelihood management, education, and youth empowerment. Currently, I work as the District Livelihood Manager at Magic Bus India Foundation, where I manage the centre’s activities, including enrolment, training, and placements, while ensuring team retention and operational efficiency.
Previously, I worked as a Centre Coordinator at ETASHA Society, where I handled mobilization, financial oversight, and achieved the highest salary placements for youth in the organization. I've also served as a Change Maker at Unnati Foundation, where I led English, life skills, and IT sessions, helping youth secure placements.
Earlier in my career, I worked as a trainer and facilitator, delivering lessons in English, Life skills and IT, and helping students build confidence and employability. Along the way, I’ve developed skills in project management, team leadership, financial planning, and stakeholder engagement. I’m also pursuing a Master of Social Work to further enhance my ability to contribute to social development.
I have a Master's degree in Commerce from Aligarh Muslim University (2015) and am currently pursuing a Master's in Social Work from Indira Gandhi National Open University (expected 2024). Additionally, I have completed professional qualifications such as TEFL certification (2023) and facilitation training from the Freedom Employability Academy (2022). These educational experiences have strengthened my expertise in management, facilitation, and social development.
