• Responsible for planning, selection and inspection of all the Raw Materials and fossil fuels and alternate fuels to ensure that it meets the relevant quality specification with respect to product requirement.
• Responsible for ensuring the cement product is complied with relevant standards.
• Well versed with the chemical analysis, starting from Raw Materials, fuels, intermediate and finished products.
• Carrying out calibration of Blaine's apparatus, Compressive Strength Machine, Bomb Calorimeter, Laser Particle Size Analyzer and XRF.
• Carrying out Raw Mix design for smooth running of Kiln to meet the required chemistry. Co-ordinating with mines department for the supply of specified quality of Limestone.
• Carrying out fuel analysis and fuel mix for pyro - processing. Use of Pet-Coke as an alternate fuel in pyro - processing.
• Responsible for Raw Material Handling Section by unloading, stacking and feeding the raw materials to the process requirement and without any interruption.
• Handling of quality problems that arise in the process.
• Supervision of Shift Chemists, Tester - Cum - Gaugers, Sample Boys and Heavy Equipment Operators in day to day jobs in raw materials handling.
• Providing customer service and educating the customers in co-ordination with the marketing department.

• Till 1997 company had run 5 ball mills for cement grinding. Involved in charging of grinding media in association with the production department. Having good knowledge in carrying out chamber wise sieve analysis and charging of grinding media as per the mill requirement and maintaining the production at maximum level.
