Katrin Castillo

My name is Katrin I am 21 years old, I am half German and half Colombian and I have been working in hospitality for 5 years. In that time I have worked my way up from a simple barista in a small store to bar manager in one of Berlins best hotels. I am driven, innovative, a great people’s person and amazing at problem solving. I speak English, Spanish and German fluently and understand French well.

i have been able to transform the bar I currently work at from a place one goes before dinner next door to the new hot spot in Berlin for both youth and older guests. I can unify and inspire the staff I’m given quickly and effectively, allowing for an amazing atmosphere in the hotel for both guest and staff.

I started as a Barista in small stores such as coffee fellows when I was 17, then travelled and learned more about working in gastronomy and slowly worked my way up becoming a head waitress at soho house Berlin and finally becoming bar manager at Telegraphenamt Berlin.

i am not ready to be a restaurant manager in a different location as I have outgrown Berlin.

I graduated from Nelson Mandela International School and received my International Baccalaureate diploma in Berlin 2021. This is my most recent and important academic diploma
