Working as an end-to-end functional (manual) tester for a web-based TCS BaNCS application focusing on domestic, international, and foreign currency transactions ensuring compliance with business rules and regulatory standards through comprehensive functional validation.
- Hands-on experience in NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, SWIFT, Standing Orders, Bill Payments, FCY Demand Drafts and FCY Cheques.
- Designed and executed test cases by reviewing FSD and user stories ensuring end-to-end functional coverage.
- Performed Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity and SIT testing across multiple releases.
- Validated SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 messages including pacs.008, pacs.009, pacs.004, pacs.002, camt.056, camt.029, pain.001 and MT messages including COV.
- Backend data validation using MySQL queries ensuring data consistency.
- API testing using Swagger for request and response validation.
- Experience in HP ALM to log, track and manage defects throughout the defect lifecycle.
- Collaborated with developers and business analyst for requirement clarification, defect analysis, and timely resolution.
- Supported UAT activities ensuring stable production releases.
- Collaborated with cross functional team refining project scope to align with customer needs resulting in smoother deployments with reduced post-go-live issues.
- Led a team of 5 testers as module owner ensuring timely delivery.
