Working in UPTSU-IHAT as State Specialist
I am responsible for providing techno managerial and mentoring support to the district team in leading the design, implementation and review of community interventions related to family planning, maternal, new born health and nutrition outputs and outcomes including ensuring linkages between the community and facilities linkages. I am also responsible for mentoring and capacity building support to FLWs and their supervisory structure on RMNCH and nutrition intervention, ensuring the rollout and use of digital recording and tracking of clients and other responsibilities.

Poorest Areas Civil Society Programme [PACS] is an initiative of the UK Government’s Department for International Development (DFID) in partnership with 225 civil societies across 7 poorest states of India. Its focus is to facilitate socially excluded communities (SC/ST/Muslims/Women/PwD) to claim their rights and entitlements more effectively.
Key Responsibilities: Lead & Manage 44 (19 lead- 25 network) CSO projects of Uttar Pradesh which are working with the key focus i.e. to ensure rights to basic services (health and nutrition) in 17 districts.

Find Your Feet is a UK based organization working in partnership with poor communities in rural India and Malawi to bring about real and long lasting improvements to their lives focusing primarily on rural livelihoods, health and nutrition of women.
Other organizational responsibilities included
- Partnership Management Identify potential NGO partners and explore collaboration platforms with National and international NGOs
- Develop Partnerships, Assess Training needs, organize centralized & fields based trainings and facilitate linkages with other market stakeholders.
- Ensure Sustainability of projects by developing project proposals, policy recommendations, periodic monitoring and reviews and facilitate community ownership in the programme
- Facilitate intra-partner learning through exposure visits, trainings & workshops.

- Advocacy/publications: Guide and train NGO staff, communities on rights based advocacy. coordinate regular interface with legal rights agencies, networks and individual activists. Guide in publication of periodic newsletter of FYF-India program

- Report writing and Documentation: Design and write all quarter, half yearly and annual reports for the donors and Find Your Feet
Worked in a USAID funded Health Project -PSP-One as an Asst. Program Manager in Lucknow from (H.O. Delhi)
DIMPA program being implemented by Private Sector Partnership – One (PSP-One) is a global project funded by the United States Agency for International Development(USAID).It provides technical leadership to expand the private sector’s involvement in the sustainable provision of quality reproductive health products & services.
Private Sector Partnerships–One (PSP-One) also supported SAATHIYA program –a special initiative focused on addressing the Family Planning and Reproductive health needs of young married couples – The Youth Friendly Initiative USAID, Washington funded Youth Friendly Initiative in India is to createa sustainable mechanism to improve contraceptive seeking knowledge and behaviors among married youth aged 16-24 in Lucknow.

Worked with ORG-Centre for Social Research, a Division of AC NIELSEN ORG-MARG Pvt. Ltd. as Senior Consultant in World Food Programme study.
The main focus of the study was on children reflected in the key health & dev. indicators like high morbidity & infant mortality rate, higher incidence of malnutrition & nutrition related diseases, lower literacy & higher school dropouts rates. The research project interventions were to know why more than ½ of the infant deaths occurred within the first month from birth and it was estimated that more than half of the children under the age of 4 in the country were malnourished & 30% severely underweight
Under the support to ICDS for improving the nutritional status of children & women, WFP is providing nutritious supplementary & fortified food rations to women & children
