Qualified as Mechanical Engineer with honours from University of Madras, India. Followed by Marine Engineer with First Class (Motor) competency. Later qualified with MBA from Amity Global Management School.
Chief Engineer and worked on board Chemical tankers, Crude & Product tankers, LNG Tankers (dry dock related), Bulk carriers, container vessels and on-board Passenger vessel for 18 years (out of which 11 years as CE). Joined the shore team as TechnicalSuperintendent - promoted to Technical Manager and as Fleet Manager with total 14 years of shore experience.
My abilities include handling multi-national crew at sea and ashore, technical issues, and multi-disciplinary challenges.
Worked as Technical Manager, Fleet Manager , Technical Support Manager and Superintendent on shore. Managing Tankers ( Chemical , oil , asphalt and LPG) , Bulk carriers and containers.
Having sailing experience in tankers, bulk carriers and containers.
Having experience in New Building projects.
First Class Motor Comptencey certificate.
BE and MBA.
