Owned finance, accounting, taxation, audit, treasury, MIS, statutory compliance and parent-group reporting for the Indian subsidiary of a Swedish group.

• Built the finance team from scratch to 13 members and led recruitment, structure, training, retention and performance management.
• Improved profitability margin by 20% year-on-year through cost-reduction and process-improvement initiatives.
• Secured a GST refund of INR 30 Mn and income-tax savings of INR 20 Mn through a disciplined compliance programme.
