Boddu wish to introduce myself as a highly spirited personality aiming to better my expertise in the field of synthetic organic chemistry. I qualified in the National level examination (CSIR- NET) conducted by Government of India for research fellowship. I joined for Doctoral programme (Ph.D.) in the group of Dr. Mallavadhani at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (CSIR-IICT) in the year 2013. I worked in the area of natural products synthesis and chosen the topic “Synthesis of Orcinol Based Lichen Secondary Metabolites and Evaluation of their Anti-microbial, Anti-inflammatory and Anti-diabetic Potential”, which was awarded in Sep. 2018. During my Ph.D., I successfully synthesized highly potent New Chemical Entities (Montagnetol, Lecanoric acid, Xanthones, and Coumarin derivatives) from orcinol, which is a ubiquitous building block in lichen secondary metabolites and also found to accumulate in a number of lichen species. I published four papers in International journals and two more are under communication. I well versed with synthesis of natural products, structural elucidation of molecules using 1D & 2D NMR, LCMS, and IR. I used to update my knowledge through SciFinder, Science Direct, Reaxys and by visiting library regularly. In addition, as research professional I have more than 7 years of experience (Ph.D. + Postdoc) in synthetic organic chemistry & expertise in multi-step organic heterocyclic compounds. I worked as a postdoctoral researcher Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), South Korea. Currently I am working as Associate Research Scientist at Sai Life Sciences, Hyderabad, India I am very enthusiastic in designing new molecules and synthesis of their novel compounds, its activity, using chemical tools to find out the molecular targets. My success in the past has stemmed from a strong commitment to hard work; sense of professionalism, dedication and responsibility.

• Synthesis: Experience in conducting air, moisture sensitive and potentially hazardous reactions in laboratory. Expertise in design and synthesis of bioactive molecules from natural products. Well acquainted with purification techniques (Recrystallisation, column chromatography (CombiFlash), Fractional and vacuum distillations)
• Characterization: Expertise in characterization of marker compounds using various analytical techniques such as NMR spectroscopy, Mass spectrometry GC-MS, GC HPLC and Infrared spectroscopy.
• Capable of performing reaction in the temperature of -78 oC to 200 oC
• Handled variousreagents like n-BuLi,LDA, NaH, LAH, NaBH4, DIBAL, Na and Li metal,Li-HMDS, Pd/C, Pd (OH)2, SeO2 and almost all common reagents.
• Software skills: Well versed with various chemistry research related computer packages viz. ChemBioDraw, SciFinder, Reaxys, MestReNova and MestRe-C
• Development, optimization, and validation of selected scheme at the laboratory level.
• Isolation: Experience in isolation of marker compounds from natural sourcesusing different isolationtechniques
• Maintain the LNB, e-LNB and Prepare work reports.
• Experience in synthesis of new drugs, stabilize the synthetic route for the Library molecules and Scale up.

  Experience in synthesis of multi step synthesis of new compounds from milligram to kilogram scale.

• Expertise in the synthesis of donorpolymer materials (PM6, PDI, D18) and acceptororganic molecules for organic solarcells, electronic application
