- To ensure rapid response to alarms/emergencies to maintain service and safeguard station equipment

- To ensure the reliable operation of the unit by Managing the control desk as per operation systems
- Knowledge on Operations aspects & interaction of equipment
- Responding to emergencies
- To ensure the availability of major stand by equipment by following proper trial schedule
