- Oversee entire supply change management and end to end production process (cutting, assembly, polishing, upholstery) and ensure timely delivery of customer orders
- Managing inventory level, warehouse operation and supply chain, ensuring raw material are available and finished goods are stored effectively
- Ensuring plant departments run and achieve targets as per prescribed KRA AND KPI
- Lead and manage cross functional teams across production, quality, ppc, logistics, maintenance, purchase, stores, packaging and dispatch
- Build a performance-driven culture with strong accountability
- Ensure effective communication and coordination across departments, teams including staff and work force remain motivated and engaged in achieving goals and vision of organization
- Responsible for conducting all internal, customer and external audits
- Direct and train staff, production workers and third party installer and improving skills
- Maintaining strict quality controls as per QMS by working closely with QC team, ensuring products meet specifications and regulations prescribed so as to reduce rejections and customer complaints
- Oversees the final stages of manufacturing enduring finished goods are packed according to standards and delivered to customers on time
- Production planning and control to meet production schedule within budget and an insuring optimum utilization of man, machine, material and method
- Responsible for all new product development activities and insuring same is done first time right
- Responsible for customer satisfaction by regular interaction for quality, quantity and delivery timeliness
- Purchase of Raw material, Finished material, WIP, Consumable material, Administrative material Construction material, Packing material etc
- Cultivating long term relationship with vendors so that all material is received on time, zero defects and cost cutting always remains the core agenda
- Responsible for complete documentation related to production, maintenance, accounting, quality, purchase, dispatch, shipping etc and insuring organisation working as per process, procedures and control plans
- Responsible for all country orders and export shipping orders dispatches and their logistics from start to end and insuring all customer orders reaches their destination on time and defect less
- Managing construction activities of new organisation building being constructed and insuring timely completion and within budgeted cost
- Monthly MIS reporting to top management
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives i.e Kaizen, 5s, Lean etc
- Drive operational disciple across shop floor and backend teams
- Drive cost optimization across purchase, production and logistics
- Optimize inventory level across raw material, WIP and finished goods
- Drive culture of operation excellence, employee engagement, safety awareness, cost economics, on time delivery, skill improvement, industry best practises are maintained across plant working through audits, training, and preventive measures
- Responsible for all administrative activities
- Maintenance of machines and insuring minimum down time thus improving machine efficiency to insure zero effect on cost, quality and delivery
