- Direct Taxation (TDS): Calculating and deducting Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) from employee salaries and vendor payments.
- Indirect Taxation (GST): Managing GST (Goods and Services Tax) compliance by ensuring correct tax application on invoices, reconciling GST records with the general ledger, and supporting the filing of returns like GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
- Audit Coordination: Preparing financial documentation and internal reports for periodic audits. You act as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax authorities to resolve queries.
- Vendor and Legal Compliance: Ensuring all Vendor Registrations comply with internal procurement policies and that necessary tax documents (like PAN and GST certificates) are collected and verified before onboarding
- Financial record keeping of daily transaction – Sales, purchases, receipts, payment and updating general ledgers in tally and ERP
- Accounts Payable / Receivable processing vendor payment and following up on customer payment agreements
- Compliance and Taxation handling bank reconciliations, Preparing Monthly GST report, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and assisting external auditors with year-end financial finalization.
- Office Management: Overseeing facility maintenance, managing vendor relations, and ensuring office supplies and pantry inventory are adequately stocked.
- Executive Support: Scheduling meetings, managing travel arrangements (flights, hotels), and handling general correspondence or filing.
- Operations Coordination: Managing IT updates for office hardware, coordinating with legal for documentation, and assisting with purchasing tasks.
