Quality Assurance and Supplier Development engineer . Having a total 8 years and 6 months of experience in Mechanical product and process control and IGI activities and documentation for space products. Working experience in Aerospace, Defence and automotive sector.

• Incoming goods inspection overviews for Machined and Electronic products and brought out mechanical and electro-mechanical inspection and verification as per the design documents, drawings, standards and process guidelines.
• Looking after shop floor activities of daily inspections, Box assemblies & Turnkey projects execution. Rejections analysis of supplied parts and actions towards process and supplier development.
• Evaluate the impact of internal and external non-conformances and take a lead in problem solving activities, drive root cause and corrective actions with suppliers to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances.
• Review supplier manufacturing processes and engage with suppliers to identify process and product improvements.
• Drive suppliers through virtual assessments, visits and audits. Improvement through virtual assessment, manage scorecard, and support supplier qualification processes.

Experience in handling suppliers from virtual and remote method.

• Issuing procurement specification and Quality guidelines to supplier for Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical parts to meet critical quality and process parameter and customer requirements.
• Knowledge on special processes like anodizing, chromating, passivation, gold plating, Black painting and powder coating, ink branding and labels printing etc.
• Working experience on measuring instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometer, 2D and Digital height measurement, Hardness Tester, Surface Roughness tester, Profile projector, Micro height, VMM, CMM (Basics), Snap gauges, Poke Yoke jigs etc.
• Handling Customer complaints with proper audit closeout and Preparation of Work Procedures, Gauge Handling Procedures & maintaining records of calibration up to date etc.
• Electro-Mechanical parts and Packages inspection as per drawings and data sheet and Electronic integrated build verification and validation as per the assembly drawings and offer for customer video/Photographic audit.
• Involving in Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical assembly and Process sub-assemblies. (PCBA package assembly with Mechanical housing with fasteners and Turnkey projects).
• Preparation of Procurements specification and Quality documents required for the particular projects and procurement of Mechanical and Electro-mechanical parts.
• Preparing Mechanical specification check sheet, work instruction charts, Assembly procedure, Process flow, Quality alert note, Data pack and Process Identification Document and Quality Assurance Plan for Space and Defense projects and customer documents.
• Involving in New product development, Poke Yoke jigs assessment and BOM preparation and Procurement of project related BOM items for Built to Specification projects.
• Preparation of work and process instruction for rejection/ rework control for assembly builds.
• Supplier development and improvement by conducting FIRST ARTICLE INSPECTION (FAI).
• Performed on QUALITY PLAN, PFMEA, CONTROL PLAN, PFD, SPC, CAPA and MSA.
• Assist supplier and Involved in APQP& PPAP activities like Project Assurance Plan, preparation of new gauge plans, checking aids, Drawing clarification, BOM preparation, Material procurement and their verification and documentation etc.
• Knowledge of procurement of Raw material, fasteners and plating standards as per the customer documents / as per Standards.
• Incoming, In-process, Final Quality plan & Inspection (in order to meet customer requirements).
• QMS audits and Expectation and documentation as per AS9100 REV D, ISO 9001 Documentation.
• Knowledge of ISRO PAX 300 and 304 and IPC-A-610.
• Knowledge of GD&T as per ASME Y 14.5.
• Handling all quality Activities in ERP System (Visual Udyog, Baan LN and SFM).
