I'm writing with regards to the advertised post of English Language Lecturer in your esteemed institution.
I'm a highly motivated UGC NET English/TEFL qualified candidate with a Post-graduation in English Language and Literature from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala.
I triggered my academic career as a Skill Development Executive, i.e., Communicative Skills in English, and Basic ICT Trainer in Additional Skills Acquisitions Programme, a state-owned skill development company under the Dept. of Higher Education and General Education, Kerala.
I fostered technology enhanced activity oriented, inclusive training methods in the classroom to develop Effective Communication, Basic ICT Skills and Employability to meet the rising demands of the 21st century corporate workspace.
Then, I turned to Collegiate teaching, working as an English Lecturer in the Arts, Commerce, Science and Technology streams.
I previously served as an Ad hoc Asst. Professor of Professional Communications in English & Life Skills for Engineers in the Career Development & Placement Cell of Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology, Government Engineering College, Kottayam, Kerala affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University.
The roles equipped me with a dynamic curriculum based on English for Specific Purposes, Professional Communications Skills, LSRW Training in the Language Lab, Technology enhanced Oral Presentation, Group Discussion, Interview Skills & Placement Drive Training Programs, etc.
Currently,I work as an OET Trainer in Medicity International Academy, Kottayam, Kerala.
