Part of Corning’s global turnaround project; served as an expat in Chengdu & Shanghai for 2 years (2015–2017) working alongside local teams and learning how to get things done in a different work culture
- Fixed safety issues that were slowing plant down and risking downtime at a loss-making plant by implementing safety controls under ISO-13849 standards and automating most cable operations resulting in a 70% improvement in safety scores and an enhanced workforce morale
- Dug into problems, fixed the root causes, and improved speed on the line by over 8%, contributing to a positive revenue turnaround
