• Designated as Jr. Design engineer.
• Preparing the permits jobs of Florida, Alabama, South carolina.
• I prepare the permit for FLDOT, ALDOT, CITY, COUNTRY and RR.
• Based upon Jurisdiction and Region the permit requirements may vary from one job to another job.
• At first, I collect the data like Scope of work, field layout, field notes. Then I analyze the start and end location of job, pole information, Hand hole/Manhole information, proposed cable information, existing structures information of respective.
• Then I prepare the Land base in AUTO CAD MAP 3D and place the proposed fiber, proposed structures, bores, Aerial clearances, call outs, profiles, Trench details, scope of work etc.
• I place the utility lines like storm, sewer, water, gas & electric.
• Then I take the work prints pdf and export into the MIC.
• After that as per Inputs we need to place features Like SPLICE, MH, HH, POLES, FIBER CABLES and ETC. As per Client rule we place Fiber. In Design Fiber need not to waste unnecessary. Creating FIBER MAP for their reference to which cable is connecting to that site and cable site.
• After completion of DESIGN and need to Create PERMIT File's for each PERMIT in AUTOCAD. Permits are like CITY, COUNTY and COUNTRY permits, every permit have different Rules and Regulations. After this we need to capture FIBER CABLE as TRANSMEDIA, PERMITS as PERMIT POLYGONS and ETC…..
