About
I am communications professional, focusing on building strong brand reputations through a mix of strategy and creative execution. Currently, I work directly with the CEO at Mercy For Animals India, where I handle everything from media relations to producing our podcast, "Voice for the Voiceless", managing the entire process from guest selection to interviewing. I also lead our celebrity partnerships, which involves writing scripts for campaign shoots.
I also draf ad copies, press releases and emailers. A big part of my job involves creating targeted content for people who drive change. I curate newsletters for politicians and policymakers, and celebrity partners.
I oversee our PR pushes to get us covered in national media while also strategizing and writing content for our website. Before this, I learned how to navigate the fast pace of a global newsroom at Thomson Reuters where I handled all the Top news Ikon pages. My foundation in communication really took shape at Smile Foundation, where I managed press conferences and drove the organization's thought leadership by ghostwriting articles for the CEO in leading newspapers and writing ad copies for corporate and individual donors.
Experience
In my current role at Mercy For Animals India, I report directly to the CEO and lead our celebrity and media relations, managing high-profile campaigns with icons like Sakshi Malik and Daksha Nagarkar. I handle everything from writing ad copy and scripts for celebrity shoots to producing our podcast, "Voice for the Voiceless". A key part of my strategy involves direct outreach to policymakers including the Prime Minister’s Office and Amit Shah through targeted newsletters and briefings.
My background is rooted in high-pressure environments, having sharpened my news judgment at Thomson Reuters where I managed global newsletters for clients like Nasdaq.
I also have deep experience in executive positioning from my time at Smile Foundation, where I ghostwrote thought-leadership pieces for Santanu Mishra in leading national newspapers and managed partnerships with brands like PepsiCo, 3M, and Honda.
Whether it's managing a crisis, producing a podcast, or strategizing website content, I specialize in making sure a brand’s narrative is consistent, professional, and impactful.
Education
I hold a Master’s degree in Women's Studies from the Research Centre for Women's Studies at SNDT Women's University in Mumbai, where I graduated with a 71.90%. My academic foundation began at Ramjas College, University of Delhi, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in History. Prior to university, I maintained a consistently high academic record at Kendriya Vidyalaya, achieving a perfect 10 CGPA in Class 10th and 94.5% in Class 12th.
