Being a project manager in a start-up firm is exactly as you are imagining it to be. Right from determining the scope to ensuring resources are allocated right on ground is on my radar. I always get pulled into firefighting to ensure continuity in the project. If documentation needs to be done, I am the go-to colleague.
Luckily, my obsession with discipline and staying organised helps me manage tasks and stay on top of things. I drive myself to be a better person as I’m constantly learning on the job and also outside. My connection with books is strong as it helps to diversify the thought process and open my mind to newer possibilities. There aren’t many things that can help a company grow they way trust, and dependability can, and I take pride in dedication to both.
Having a work experience of 13+ years across industries spanning banking, telecom, media, education and agribusiness has given me wide exposure. I can easily connect to individuals, manage businesses and engage with the senior management team for strategic level decisions. Managing clients and handling global projects is my area of expertise.
Completed MBA in marketing from University of Madras in 2010.
