- Supplier Management: Raise Defective Material Reports (DMR) for online rejections, conducts monthly supplier meetings, and follow up on CAPA.
- Lead Food Safety Management Systems: Passed FSSC 22000 audit with zero NC. Ensure compliance with FSSAI requirements.
- Train employees on Food Safety, GMP, and Quality Systems.
- Provide technical support to the Production Department for major and recurring issues, assisting in the implementation of approved improvement plans.
- Validation of CCP & OPRP according to food safety requirement.
- Conduct lab performance validation using Reference Control System and BAPS.
- Oversee external calibration of lab instruments through NABL-certified labs.
- Serve as Departmental Safety Representative (EHS), ensuring compliance with PTW, risk assessments, and safe working practices.
- Manage vendor audits, trade quality assessments, and consumer complaints.
- Ensure pest control management effectiveness across the plant.
- Handle procurement of lab consumables, vendor development, and negotiations.
- Conduct sensory evaluation of raw materials and finished products through dope tasting, brand identification, and flavor recognition exercises.
- Prepare and circulate daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports.
- Planning for blends as per allocation and market demand.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers where necessary (where impacting/affected by quality issues).
- Plan & prepare FSMS Activity calendar for the site.
- Selection of auditors, planning & conducting Internal Audits.
