I'm a freelance translator, recently graduated from Ca' Foscari University of Venice, holding a bachelor's degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation, and a Master degree in Chinese language. I started developing my translation career months before my final exam at university, successfully participating in a range of different project in collaboration with the Chinese translation agency Besteasy Translation Technology. I have mostly familiar with localization of software and videogames and the translation of legal documents, such as extradition letters, laws and provisions, Terms and condition contracts and more.
I recently graduated with a master’s degree in Languages and Civilisations of Asia and Mediterranean Africa from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, while already holding a bachelor’s degree in Cultural and Linguistic Mediation. At the moment I’m part of its alumni community, through which the university maintain contact with its former students.
During my 5 years of academic studies, I have always managed not only to maintain high grades, with a grade point average of 28.5/30, but also to get the most out of every course, focusing on developing my translation skills.
Months before having graduated with full marks on November 2022, I had already started working as a freelance translator in cooperation with well-established Chinese translation and localisation companies and contributed to the accomplishment of many projects.
There I have gained experience in a range of different fields, from video game and software localisation to the translation of more technical documents, as well as proofreading and reviewing.
