I am a 25-year-old Italian young adult, with a strong passion for education, languages, sports, and children.
I graduated high school in 2015 from the International School in Genoa.
After my high school graduation, I realized I enjoyed teaching and helping children learn through fun activities. For this reason, I decided to obtain my CELTA diploma.
In 2016, I started a BA in Translation and Interpreting, which I concluded in 2019.
I then moved to Milan to work at ICS Milan as an Early Years Teaching Assistant and have been there since.
In December 2022 I became an Acrobatic Gymnastics Instructor.
Through my teaching experience, I learned valuable professional skills such as classroom management, adaptive teaching methods, and course design. I have spent these past three years covering different classes, all with different age groups, between 12 months and 5 years old.
I enjoy exploring various teaching methods, such as Montessori, Reggio or others. I am a fast learner and have a real passion for educating children and teenagers. My aim as a teacher and educator is to foster a constructive learning environment. I am very passionate about STEAM activities and include mathematical and logical skills in most of the daily lesson plans.
After my high school graduation, I realized I enjoyed teaching English and helping children learn through fun activities. For this reason, I decided to obtain my CELTA diploma. This allowed me to understand how passionate I actually was about teaching and stimulated me into enrolling at a language university.
I attended a Traslation and Interpreting faculty and while studying I was able to complete my university internship at a language school, where I was assigned and was responsible for all English lessons.
At the end of my third year of university, I was asked by my headmaster to hold a one-to-one English class, despite I was still attending.
