A chemical engineer who has had technical management experience in the Oil & Gas sector (Onshore & Offshore) by more than 17 years as Safety and Fire Protection Engineer with NFPA Fire Prevention Program Manager Certificate, IOSH Fire Safety for Managers Certificate, Oil& Gas Safety and Health Manager Certificate by OSHA Academy and IFE (Institution of Fire Engineers) associated.

During my work I ensure the following points:

• Development and proper implementation of engineering, in compliance with Company Safety Health policies, standards and contractual requirements, managing all internal and / or external engineering activities.
• Ability to identify and manage priorities for multiple projects while maintaining projects quality.
• Identify and evaluate design risks and solutions to optimize purchasing and construction phases.
• Coordinating, discipline interfaces and control activities developed in terms of technical and qualitative aspects, guaranteeing compliance with all project objectives.
• Optimizing budgets planning for the Fire Fighting and Safety equipment.
• Good knowledge of NFPAs and API (2218, 2001, 505, 2030) codes.
• Supervise the design of fire and explosion protection systems, F&G detection and hazardous area classification;
• Participating in the procurement process, guaranteeing the technical alignment of the Vendors and evaluating technical-

economic bids for safety and fire fighting equipment.

• Solving problematic of engineering and environmental impact. Interface with customers and suppliers following the directives of the Companies.
• Supporting to the Field for all engineering issues and co-ordinate with the respective technicians. Safety and Fire

Equipment inspection at sites. Site Inspections and implement mitigation measures to increase HSE level.

• Supporting to the Project Manager in defining engineering strategies.
• Development of the safety measures to be applied for the protection of workers; work instructions and strengthening the

HSE culture on the staff.

• Training on fire protection for the young colleagues.
• Understanding Clients needs and matches them to appropriate solution.
• Be creative and promote new ideas.
• Ability to work in multiple projects and proposals.
• Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals.
