Caleb Choy

I am a hardworking, creative and flexible teacher looking to further my career in the teaching of English to all learners. I currently hold a Masters in TESOL, as well as am CELTA and TESOL Cert IV certified.

My working experience so far has included teaching or training in some shape or form. At the present time, I have been working in an international school teaching a variety of subjects to learners of different ages and levels. Prior to this, I was an English language teacher at various institutions – an international school, a language school and a kindergarten, teaching a variety of students from ages 3 to 75.

I believe these experiences are indicative of my abilities and willingness to work with learners of all levels.

I have also previously worked as a communications coordinator for a corporate company back in my home country. This enabled me to work with and conduct training for adults from various countries (France, Japan, Australia, India) on corporate processes. All trainings were conducted in English. Through this, I have developed strong communication skills while developing an understanding of cultural differences.

Having a passion for teaching and interacting with people of different cultures and backgrounds, I seek to work in a field where I can advocate learning in a conducive environment, where constant development is encouraged. At the same time, I seek to be able to combine my skills with creativity that will generate interest and impact students. In the long run, I also desire to be able to grow and excel continuously, as to be able to benefit others by impart knowledge and encourage continual learning.
