Jesse Ascencio

I am currently living in Toda, Saitama, and am looking for part time work while I study Japanese.

I have a Bachelors degree from Southern New Hampshire University, along with a TEFL certification. My prior experiences of working in the US Army and private security has given me the skills of being able to work as a solid team member, or as an independent worker, along with giving me special skills in communication that many others in this field may lack.

I an TEFL certified, and have earned a bachelors degree.

I spent time working in the US Army as a basic infantryman, which gave me the skills of being able to work under pressure, and as a team member. This career also made me a strong communicator, and someone who you can depend on the perform the assigned task to the best of his abilities.

I also worked in private security, which gave me great skills in communicating, especially with those who cannot or refused to speak English. This allows me to be able to explain and teach things through physical language, not just verbal language. I also had a lot of experience with children during this job because of the community service my company was involved with, along with experience in handling adults and children with special needs.

My most relevant education is my TEFL certification, which was a 120 hour English course that prepared me to travel abroad and teach English to students of all ages.

I have also earned a bachelors degree in general studies with a history concentration. Although history is my favorite topic, my passion is to pass on my knowledge to others in any topic in hopes that they can one day pass the knowledge to others themselves.
