I am a competent professional with skills, knowledge and experience that are key to the achievement of Organizational goals and objectives as stipulated in the specific Strategic plans .I have actively been involved in project initiation and management with key responsibilities as Proposal development , agribusiness development, project planning, Climate smart Agriculture, climate change adaptation ,gender mainstreaming and social inclusion capacity building ,Cost benefit Analysis , and Monitoring and Evaluation .

2017 to dateSub-county crops development officer -County government of Migori, department of Agriculture, livestock fisheries and cooperatives.

Roles and achievements 

• Coordinating and implementing crop development programs at the sub-county
• Monitoring and evaluating agricultural projects within the sub-county 
• Collating, analyzing storing and disseminating of crop information in the sub-county
• Successfully coordinating the capacity building process for farmers and farmer organizations for the production of high value crops, Climate smart Agriculture and Climate Change adaptation. 
• Initiated the formation of farmer organizations for structured marketing systems in the Sub-County 

Achievements

• Provided technical expertise for the development of the Participatory Climate Risks Assessment (PCRA) .tool for Migori County 
• Technically supported the Participatory Climate Risks Assessment (PCRA) .process in Migori County 

Achievements

• Successfully carried out the Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA) for the Multi –community projects under component 3 of NARIGP project
• Technically supported the producer organizations in enterprise development for enhanced profitability
• Provided technical expertise for the management of producer organizations.
• Carried out capacity building for County technical staff and the producer organizations.

• Successfully established a plant clinic and managed to address plant health issues within Suna –East Sub-County in Migori County

• Developed a digital data collection tool for the performance tracking 
• Effectively coordinated the running of farmer business schools in the eight (8) sub-counties
• Successfully carried out monitoring and evaluation for the project as per the work plan and the Logical framework.

• Developed training materials on National and county governments budgeting in Kenya
• Developed training materials for budget advocacy ,Climate smart Agriculture (CSA), and Climate Change Adaptation (CCA)
• Facilitated a six(6) days workshop on budgeting and advocacy 
• Guided the development of advocacy action plans for six organizations working closely with PELLUM-Kenya
• Facilitated a seven (7) days workshop for Women on Water for Environmental sustainability 
• Guided the development of action plans Environmental sustainability with focus on integrated flood and drought risk mitigation
