My name is Adika Steve Biko i have a Master of arts in Development Administration and Management, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Development Studies both from Kampala International University, Uganda, I have further honed my skills through numerous professional training and certification in project management. With over a decade of professional experience, I have cultivated a diverse skill set, allowing me to excel in project management and implementation across various programs. My expertise spans in WASH programs, community empowerment initiatives, and youth employability projects. I have served in various capacities in project management and implementation. In my last assignment, I was the County Market Advisor (CMA) for USAID-Western Kenya Sanitation project(WKSP) in Kakamega County. Focusing on creating and building markets for uptake and adoption of sanitation technologies for Market Based Sanitation(MBS) and Menstrual Hygiene Management (MBS) and working closely with the County government to create an enabling environment for MBS to thrive. Previously I also held a position of Project assistant for Financial Inclusion Improves Sanitation and Health (FINISH) Mondial Project in Meru and Tharaka Nithi Counties. In this role, I focused on sanitation marketing, promoting different sanitation technologies to improve the basic sanitation facilities and capacity building of artisans and community health promotors (CHPs) to gained skill sets for demand creation for increase uptake and adoption of sanitation technologies. I also served as project assistant for Hygiene Behavior Change Coalition (HBCC) working in 8 counties task to spear head implementation and setting up interventions to curb the spread of COVID 19 in Kenya.
