TAKATAKA SOLUTIONS LIMITED (November 2021 to date)
TakaTaka Solutions is a waste management company based in Nairobi that collects, sorts, recycles, composts and incinerate waste materials. As a project officer, I manage project deliverables in line with the project plan across a portfolio of 9 projects in Kenya and Uganda.
i. So far, we have created over 1000 new jobs for the women and youth in the waste sector ii. Significantly eradicated poverty in the peri-urban areas of Kenyan cities.
iii. Created a significant environmental impact through reduction of GHG emissions in the environment. iv. Acquired comprehensive reporting and analyzing skills, and proposal writing skills.
PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (October 2019 to October 2020)
The ministry focuses on ensuring co-operation of workers, trade unions and employers and adherence to provisions of the labour laws. They reconcile and investigate trade disputes. As an Intern under the Chief Industrial relations officer, I assisted in data entry, attend reconciliation meetings, prepared minutes and comprehensive reports on dispute resolution mechanisms used, drafted the 2018 wage bill and conducted data analysis on dispute redundancies.
i. Understood the Labour Law ii. Acquired advanced skills in report writing, arbitration techniques and leadership skills.
GLOBAL E-SCHOOLS AND COMMUNITY INITIATIVE (June 2019 – September 2019)
GESCI is an international non-profit technical assistance organization. They are a trusted advisor to governments, development agencies, academia, private sector and civil society organizations working to address key educational challenges of equity and access, relevance and quality through the innovative use of technology. I worked under the MERL expert in data analysis and reporting on the African Digital Skills Inititive (ADSI) project across 4 counties in Kenya: Nyamira, Nairobi, Kiambu and Narok.

KNBS acts as the principal agency of the Government for collecting, analyzing and disseminating statistical data in Kenya. I was privileged to Participate in the 2018 economic survey on Market analysis at Kirinyaga county. We conducted field surveys and analyzed the market trends and participated in drafting2018 Kirinyaga county economic survey draft report.
