I am an experienced security personnel with a military background and majored in communications both in static and outfield in both long range and short range high frequency and very high frequency radio equipment, worked in a busy military communication centre for about 18 years where I operated several communication equipment such as ground station radios, outfield radio communication, switchboard automated exchange and emergency response calls. Registered, booked and transmitted and received both written and oral messages in coded language.

• Operate the very / high frequency radios in order to ensure quality and confidential radio communications for the operational needs of the project.
• Forward all information concerning the security of the teams to the project coordinator 
• Install, operate and perform preventive maintenance checks on assigned equipment’s
• Monitor and register movement of people, vehicles, cargo, (departure, arrivals, route taken) inform line manager of any delays
• Provide basic radio training when necessary to Medecins Sans Frontieres staff
• Ensure radio frequencies (HF and VHF) quality and transmission capacity. Install and program frequencies in all types of radios when necessary.
