Judicial Attachment - Limuru Law Courts - Limuru, Kenya

During this time of Judicial Attachment I got to attend Physical court both criminal and civil matters. I also learnt proper case management from filing of pleadings to hearing of the suits. I also learnt of the importance and the art of Legal Research as Judgments and rulings are mostly based on stare decisis.

I first joined the organization after successfully applying for pupilage which is one of the mandatory requirements of the Advocates Training Program in Kenya. I was lucky enough to have a very involving Pupil Teacher who was my last employer. I got the opportunity to learn needed legal skills.

Being fresh from law school I was tasked with initial duties, and after successfully completing my pupilage period I was offered a chance to be retained as a full time employee. I continued performing similar tasks but was given extra responsibilities in training and orientation.

Attention to details while conducting client interviews so as to correctly identify and deduce how their issue can be solved as per the law
The art of effective case research as I got to draft a lot of submissions which MUST be supported by correct legal reasoning and within the law
The art of customer satisfaction which is paramount in every business entity
