Bridget Ngesa

I am Bridget Ngesa and I have just completed my coursework in the Multimedia University of Kenya as a student of Bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry.

I am a passionate and dedicated chemist who is looking to gain skills through various practises. Through my coursework I was able to gain hands-on experience from my attachment at Kapa Oil Refineries ltd and I gained laboratory and chemical analysis skills, problem solving skills, and communication skills. I was able to work with a team of expertise and was able to put my theoretical knowledge into practise.

Aside from my coursework, I was able to take part in a creative and leadership activity that is the hult prize which is a youth led initiative aimed at solving global challenges to change the world through social enterprise. Through this project I was privileged to acquire innovative skills and have a lot of mentoring sessions.

I am also a member of a health and environmental club which it is a group formed in campus aimed at conserving the environment, mentoring the youth and being responsible for the community at large.

As I await from my graduation, I would like to have the chance to explore more career options, my passion in community activities and sharpen my skills.

During my coursework I was able to gain hands-on experience through my attachment in Kapa Oil Refineries ltd for three months where I was able to interact with a team of expertise in the industry.

During my attachment, I was responsible of assisting the plant operations to manage the production processes and the quality assurance to check on the quality of products and standards achieved.

Due to kapa being a broad company I was able to work with alot of experts from various fields through team collaborations.

I am a student at Multimedia University of Kenya pursuing Bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry and I have just completed my coursework awaiting for graduation.

I gained a solid foundation in Laboratory techniques, Industrial applications, chemical properties and analytical skills which are all useful in day to day activities.
