I started my Career in 2013 as a teller Clerk at Unaitas Sacco society Limited. After serving for one Year I moved to internal audit and compliance with Artemis Outsourcing Limited. Having served diligently, one of the major clients of Artemis, Tusker Mattresses Limited absorbed me to serve as a Branch Administrator in its Kisumu's United Branch. upon management re-organization, I was transferred to Head office to serve as Executive Analyst in the CEO's Office. My major role was to coordinate, on behalf of the CEO, the functioning of all departments to ensure smooth interrelationships. After successful stint, I was given the position of Purchasing Manager to be in-charge of procurement of retail merchandize for the company. Later on I was promoted to position of Supply Chain Manager looking after end to end purchasing and distribution of merchandize from suppliers, to centralized warehouse and across branch network. I held the position for three and a half years.
I was responsible for maintaining good relationship between the company and suppliers. I also coordinated purchasing of day to day retail merchandize from suppliers to centralized warehouse and across branch network. i also handled all imports from different countries. The role also involved ensuring proper stock conversions to support smooth business operations and align with cashflows.
