I am a Kenyan citizen aged 43 and a graduate of Computer science and Engineering from Maseno University Kenya. I am currently pursuing a Masters in MBA (Management Information Systems) at Nairobi University. I have worked as a part-time lecturer in the Institute of Computing and Informatics at the Technical University of Mombasa, Kenya School of Government Mombasa where I was also doubling as the IT technician and Matuga; once the IT Manager at Kefo Engineers Mombasa and a part-time lecturer at Mount Kenya University.
I also worked at SGS Kenya Limited as an Assistant Weighbridge Manager, Automotive department. I am currently a part-time lecturer at the Technical University of Mombasa, Institute of Computing and Informatics.
March 2005- Present: Technical University of Mombasa Institute of Computing and Informatics Part time Lecturer at the Technical University of Mombasa, Information Technology Department. Duties: Lecturing in Computer Programming, Quantitative Techniques, Management Information Systems, Microprocessor Systems and ICT for Logistics and Transport.
November 4th 2013 to 31st March 2015: SGS Kenya Limited Assistant weighbridge manager at SGS Kenya Ltd. in Automotive department where I headed a team of 15 junior staff in running day to day station operations. Headed Computer Operators, Census clerks, drivers, General assistants and causal laborers.
Jan 2005-Nov 3rd 2013 : KEFO Engineers Mombasa and Part time lecturer at Mount Kenya University IT Manager at KEFO Engineers Mombasa and Part time lecturer at Mount Kenya University, IT Department, Mombasa Campus.
University I taught databases, internet computing, networking and electronics and supervised software projects. At KEFO Engineers I headed a team of four. A software developer, a hardware engineer, A technical sales person and a clerical officer. At KEFO Engineers, we did numerous Hardware and Software projects.
Sept 2004-May 2006 : Lecturer and Computer Technician at Kenya School of Government Mombasa Part time Lecturer and Computer Technician at Kenya School of Government Mombasa. Duties: Lecturing in the Department of Information Management, assisting the Department in management and participating in departmental meetings and offering repair, maintenance and support services to the entire institute.
May 2001-Sept 2001 and June 2002-Sept 2002: SITA Mombasa Attachment at SITA Mombasa, an Airline Telecommunication Company.
2022-Present: Pursuing MBA (Management Information Systems) at Nairobi University
