Inspects fuel receipts, storage, and distribution of both aviation and ground fuels facilities and checking systems for leakage, corrosion, faulty fittings, and inoperative components such as distribution lines, storage tanks inlets and outlets, fuel water separator, pumps, automatic/manual valves, meters, and system control rooms
Supervising 20 persons shift overseeing operation of 17 aviation vehicles
Refuelling and defueling of military aircrafts using Avery Haldol/D-1 nozzles
Monitoring and recording Automatic gauging systems readings in fuel tanks, collapsible bladders
Performs usage calculations to determine ullage and maintain fuel levels
Prepares and verifies fuel shipping documents in accordance with company -JIG standards
Perform routine, preventative maintenance checks, including Millipore test, monitoring and operate SAMPI systems,
Safe fuel-handling procedures including hazards of static charges, and correct grounding & bonding and proper use of personal protective equipment
Maintains hazardous waste management program plus initiating emergency procedures including spill clean-up.
Receives and transfers fuel by coupling and uncoupling hoses, closing and opening valves, starting and stopping pumps, monitoring gauges, and checking hose end couplings, meters and filter water separators and keep records
Conduct safety and daily checks on vehicles to ensure they’re operational, perform safety inspection and emergency shut off systems are working as required on preventative maintenance checklist
Manoeuvre 10k gallon hazmat tanker into loading and unloading positions, following signals from banks man/ground guide
Report vehicle defects, accidents traffic violation, or damage to the vehicle.
Couple or uncouple trailers by changing trailer jack positions, connecting or disconnecting air or electrical lines, or manipulating fifth wheel locks.
Supervising and operating refuelers with capacity of up to 10k gallons both straight and articulated trucks, to deliver fuel to storage sites and to aircrafts
Comply with safety rules and ensuring material safety data sheet (MSDS) is available and accessible in the trucks
Reports to and receives assignments, instructions, and direction from the manager
Observes and follows company safety rules and procedures, including use of personal protective equipment.
Receive and dispatch fleet of fuel trucks in and out of military base through controlled entry points Observes and follows company safety rules and procedures, proper use of personal protective safety equipment.
