Metrine Kurutto

Metrine Jepchirchir Kurutto is a social scientist, a project manager and a human rights, gender equality and social inclusion activist. She holds a Bachelor of Art in Social Work from Moi University, Kenya. Metrine has experience in counselling, social science research, social work, project planning and management.

Her skills entail computer proficiency, communication and analytical skills, case management, resource mobilization, leadership, teaching, facilitation, mentoring and counseling, field service management, project management, response management, emergency coordination and matters surrounding national socio-economic issues. She has also contributed to academia through an extensive research output. Her creative non-fiction and academic writing, extensive public speaking, scholarship, research and programmatic work are well informed by the capability approach, social inclusion, and human rights moral concepts.

I have worked as a high school teacher teaching literature and christian religious education;medical social work intern in Moi Teaching and Referral hospital and as a social work intern in the ministry of east african community,labour and social protection

I studied Bachelor of Arts in social work in Moi University and Certificate in Microsoft Application Packages in African Institute of Research and Development studies
