I am professional Data analyst with a computer science background. I have work experience in data Aggregation, data processing, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets, data modeling, and performing data management tasks. Possess extensive analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and a significant ability to work in team environments. Technical Tools: R, Python, SQL, Matplotlib, Excel, Weights & Biases, pandas, numpy, sea born, scikit learn, PowerPoint, Panel, Bokeh, ggplot2, Trello, plotly, PowerBi and Tableau. My focus is to secure a project that will enable me adequately leverage and enhance my technical and analytical skills for the continual growth of the company.

I have a diverse professional experience that spans across various roles and industries. As a Data Analyst/Administrator Intern at Techedge Africa from December 2021 to June 2022, I successfully applied my data expertise to clean, process, and analyze large datasets using Python and SQL. Additionally, I contributed to integrating Postgres and MS SQL with MFiles data management system, resulting in improved workflow efficiency. During this role, I also supervised a team of six members in the Digitization department.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a Data Entry Consultant at Financial Sector Deepening (FSD) from August 2014 to April 2015, where I was responsible for verifying and initiating change requests for data on complaints logged into the case management system. I also compiled and sorted invalid/inaccurate data that needed further information.

My educational background includes completing a DevOps program at Moringa School from November 2022 to February 2023 and pursuing a Data Science program at Moringa School from March 2021 to October 2021. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Kabarak University, which I completed from January 2009 to December 2012.

Throughout my professional journey, I have developed expertise in various technical tools such as Python, R, MS SQL Server, Postgres, Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Git & GitHub, and more. I have a strong skill set in data aggregation, cleaning, visualization, analysis, modeling, and storytelling. Additionally, I possess experience in implementing CI/CD, automation, and working with cloud platforms like GCP.

I take pride in my accomplishments, including modifying and improving Power BI dashboards for clients, creating interactive sales dashboards using Python and deploying them to Heroku, and developing a Suicide Detection model to identify risk factors leading to high suicidal tendencies in Kenya using publicly available data from Twitter.
