From November 2017 to December 19, 2018, I completed a comprehensive training program at Masinde Muliro University Health Centre. During this period, I gained practical experience in various essential medical disciplines, including:

• Phlebotomy: I acquired expertise in blood collection techniques, ensuring safe and accurate specimen collection from patients.
• Serology: I received training in serological testing methods, which involve the analysis of blood serum to diagnose various diseases and infections.
• Microbiology: I learned about the identification and analysis of microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi, with a focus on their roles in healthcare.
• Parasitology: I studied the identification and management of parasitic infections, which are crucial in diagnosing and treating diseases caused by parasites.
• Haematology and Blood Transfusion Unit: I gained hands-on experience in hematology, the study of blood and its disorders, and also in the procedures related to blood transfusion.

These educational experiences have equipped me with a strong foundation in clinical laboratory techniques and healthcare practices, making me well-prepared for a career in the medical field.
