As a highly motivated and proactive individual seeking to expand her horizons and delve deep into the field of finance, I am writing to express my interest in working as a finance assistant in your company. I believe that my skill set fit the job description of the position I am applying for. I have worked as an Assistant Auditor at Gichuhi Irungu and Co.
Accountants. The duties I undertook involved preparing trial balances and producing the final accounts, directing audit assistance on how to carry out vouching and verification of clients’ books of accounts, ensuring that all monthly returns have been prepared with accuracy before they are submitted online and offering assistance to clients concerning tax compliance. This has helped me enhance my skills in auditing, taxation and also in the area of finance.
I have also worked as an Administrative Officer at Ragely Investment Ltd, The duties I undertook involved managing calendars, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and maintaining records and databases. Manage competing deadlines has consistently ensured the timely completion of assignments and projects. Submit timely reports and prepare presentations /proposals as assigned and other various duties as outlined in my resume I am currently undertaking a course in CPA Section two where I am gaining vast knowledge in Economics, Management Accounting, Public Finance and Taxation.
The experience I have gained as an Assistant Auditor as well as an Administrative Officer has helped me grow in my area of expertise.
