Stephen Balusi

I am an efficient and competent Kiswahili and Religious Education teacher. Throughout my career I have guided students to achieve their best according to their ability. I am a team player, flexible with exemplary communication and collaboration skills.

My vast experience of over seven years has yielded great results in teaching candidate classes. Due to this I have received rewards in commendation of the great hard work put towards helping students achieve the best. In my teaching career I break down complex information to make a lesson more interesting so that all students can attain the set objectives.

Teaching has been very interesting for me. My motto is “if they do not learn I fail”. I make learners like Kiswahili by using positive reinforcement. When a learner is unable to achieve a set objective, I do frequent follow-ups, counselling and repetition until a strand is well achieved.

I have encountered learners with different learning abilities and I always do my best to bring the greatest potential from them. I also believe that discipline is tied to achieving your goals. I work with my institution to instill discipline and also award those students who behave well.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Education majoring in Kiswahili and Christian Religious Education.
