I have been in the Human Resource Management practice for over fifteen years, in busy and computerized Human Resource Departments. This vast experience has equipped me with sound knowledge in a wide range of Human Resource functions and Key among these are: recruitment and selection up to on-boarding/induction process, formulation and design of Human Resource policies, processes and procedures including implementation and amendment as and when need arises, payroll administration from collecting payroll data to administering statutory deductions including monthly and yearly returns with regard to set deadlines to avoid penalties, training and development in liaison with the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA).
Disciplinary and grievance handling procedures (Labor/Industrial Relations), compliance to Government labor legislation under the new labor laws 2007, general office management and administration including management of out-sourced as well as internal security staff, licensing, Health and safety as required under WIBA, group personal accident insurance (GPA),management of industrial attachments and apprentice programs, performance management Industrial Relations, CBA negotiation and Industrial Court attendance among others.
I also have sound hands on knowledge in Human Resources Information Systems which I apply in my day to day operations as well as being conversant with a number of certification audits such MPSQ, ISO, Fair Trade and KFC.
MBA in Human Resource Management acquired from Louis Mount University.
