I would like to apply for the above-mentioned position at your organization. I am a technical services manager at Jambojet Ltd in charge of planning & records, and reliability. I am an aeronautical engineering graduate I believe that a position in your esteemed firm would offer excellent opportunities to further develop my knowledge and experience gained in university and in the work environment, where I have worked in the maintenance department.

Through working in this area I gained an understanding of the importance of meticulous preparation, proper planning, thorough research, problem solving and proper communication. I also learned the importance of paying attention to detail. Through this and my previous experience, I learnt the importance of maintaining a sympathetic yet professional attitude in the work environment.

I have developed my public speaking and leadership skills. I am confident speaking in public and can also relate well to people on an individual basis, whether advising, negotiating or explaining. I am able to handle a number of different tasks simultaneously.

I believe my application would be mutually beneficial. ● Operational oversight:

○ Developing internal procedures and policies in line with industry best practice and the Jambojet brand to ensure optimal performance

○ Ensuring continued Airworthiness of Jambojet fleet in accordance with Approved Maintenance Program, Kenya Civil Aviation Regulations

● Financial oversight

○ Manage overall maintenance budget and ensure that staff numbers and supplier support plans are optimized to reflect fleet size and volume.

● Fleet management:

○ Set fleet management strategy and policies for asset modifications and maintenance.

○ Managing the technical records department, ensuring that all essential technical records for continuous airworthiness are available, well updated, stored, archived and retained

○ Maintaining adequate, pertinent maintenance information and ensuring that revisions are obtained as are published.

○ Prepares engine staggering matrix and coordinates engine and APU removal forecasts and logistics

● People management:

○ Drive a high-performance Technical services team to ensure all outputs and deliverables are clarified, assessed regularly and met in line with Jambojet’s long term and strategic goals.

○ Review and advise Head of maintenance and Senior management on all technical contracts.

● Stakeholder management:

○ Develop communication strategies while managing relationships with all Airline departments and other key external stakeholders.
