Tender Administrator - One (1) Year Experience

Duties

Application and submission of both online and hard copy tenders and supplier’s prequalification

• Working with relevant teams on gathering of all the materials required for the tender response in regards to the requirements thus preparing quality tender documents with table of contents, dividers for documentation and neatness, numbering of the tender documents, making copies and binding
• Confidently and efficiently working on tender documents without supervision and submit them to the relevant institution meeting the set deadline dates
• Monitoring of tender websites to acquire more prequalification, tenders, prepare bid bonds if required thus striving to continuously improve the tender process
• Preparation of weekly and monthly reports on acquired prequalification and tenders
• Give timely correspondence on prequalification/tender outcome, award notices and acceptance letters following the company’s guidelines
• Storing of all documentation regarding to tenders i.e in files and on email for future reference
• Monitoring of existing contacts, expiration dates and ensuring that renewal of the same is done in good time
• Analyzing expenditure on tenders by the company and compile a report on the same
• Preparation and submission of request for proposals and quotations
