To strengthen our team in Namgu, Ulsan-si, we are looking for you as a EH&S Engineer (f/m/d)
Job Responsibilities
- Precautionary activities to prevent safety, health and environment incidents by removing potential hazard
- Lead overall review on the documentation and work practices relat-ing to EH&S activities.
- Identify whether all of the WACKER EH&S manuals are properly applied to work practice, and complying with local regulations & laws properly
- Responding to revised Chemical Substances Management Act
- Operation of chemical accident prevention plan.
- Establishment and operation of plant sustainability management plans as for group goals
- Response to assessment of implementation status of new fire prevention regulations following revision of the Hazardous Materials Management Act
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor degree in chemical engineering / environmental engineer-ing / safety engineering / chemistry is preferred
- Certifications on environment/safety are preferred
- Language ability in English to communicate with global EH&S team
- Work experience is preferred but not required.
