Field Application/Process Eng.

📋 주요업무

-Process Qualification & Start-up: Perform process setup, commissioning, and qualification of Evatec PVD thin-film deposition equipment at customer sites according to specifications.

-Yield & Process Optimization: Analyze thin-film process results (film thickness, uniformity, stress, resistivity, step coverage) and tune parameters to optimize production yield and film performance.

-Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex process issues and hardware-process interactions independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

-Customer Interaction & Technical Support: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customer process teams. Conduct technical reviews, present process data, and address customer requirements.

-Joint R&D & Process Evaluation: Support joint development projects (JDP) and process evaluations for next-generation semiconductor, advanced packaging, and power device applications.

-Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Prepare detailed technical reports, process engineering specs, and best-practice guidelines. Train customer engineers and internal field staff on process operations.

-Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Global Technical HQ (Switzerland), Field Service Engineers, and Sales Managers to drive continuous product and service improvement.

📋 자격요건

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Experience

3–7 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor thin-film processing (PVD, Evaporation, or Sputtering preferred).

Direct experience working in cleanroom environments with high-vacuum equipment.

Technical Skills

In-depth understanding of thin-film deposition physics, plasma processing, and material characterization techniques (SEM, XRD, Four-Point Probe, Ellipsometry, Stress Measurement).

Strong analytical skills and familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE).

Language Skills

Native or fluent in Korean.

Business-level proficiency in English (written and spoken) for international technical communication with HQ.

Mobility: Willingness to travel domestically (primarily within South Korea) and occasionally internationally for technical training or regional support.

📋 우대사항

-Experience with PVD equipment platforms in Advanced Packaging, Power Semiconductor, or MEMS manufacturing.

-Background in customer-facing field technical service or technical support engineering.
