Growing up with an extroverted personality, I have always enjoyed working on team driven tasks with people who have different ideas. Since I was young, I have always put a great amount of significance on teamwork because I was able to learn different ways of thinking from shared thoughts within the teammates. Having great interpersonal skills, I have successfully worked team-driven tasks.
In addition, Thanks to my outgoing personality, I was not afraid to study abroad in the United States. I was able to work with various people and experience cultural diversity in America. In particular, the United States is a place where various ethnic and cultural backgrounds are blended the most, so exposure to multicultural nations, my sight has been widened by diverse people to embrace different cultures with respect.
In addition, by having an expressive and outgoing personality I have had interests in social network services. I am familiar with the trends of SNS from the early 2000s to current. Therefore, My own interests and experience are a good match for digital marketing.
I have a good understanding of research and analysis of current social media marketing trends in both South Korea and the United States. I have used almost all of the SNS platforms and I can quickly catch and read which ones are trendy and viral with my experience. In particular, growing up in two places, Korea and the United States, I could see what captured people's hearts in each of the two cultures.
The educational background also echoes my interest in marketing strategy and planning. This year, I took Marketing Strategy which equipped me with advanced concepts and marketing strategies in business fields. This class sparked my interest in working in a multi-platform marketing company since I have experienced great results with co operated team work for my marketing simulation project.
This interest led me to participate in a career trek focused on social media marketing and project management because they are the fields where I can work with my best abilities.
I am a fast-learner and I love to challenge myself every day. Based on my interest, academic training, and professional goals, I am confident that this position is a great next step for me.
