My professional experience is reflected in activities focused on the analysis, design, and application of innovative strategies for oil exploration projects, such as the applicability of specialized computer tools in Geosciences; I have been a project leader in comprehensive studies in numerical modeling of oil systems, risk analysis in oil exploration, identification and delimitation of unconventional deposits (gas hydrates, coal, and gas shales), as well as play and prospect assessment.
In my activities focused on academia, I was an undergraduate professor at the IPN for more than 18 years and I was a graduate professor at the IMP graduate school, being a member of the Geosciences academic committee and the admissions committee.
