As Deputy Finance Director at Abbott, I oversaw Tax, Treasury, and FP&A, reinforcing governance and implementing analytics-driven controls that improved accuracy, reduced manual intervention,

and strengthened compliance. Previously, as Regional Senior Tax Manager, I led LATAM tax operations under a matrix structure, secured favorable rulings, and implemented long-term strategies that neutralized recurring exposures and ensured full VAT recovery.

I have built a solid and multidisciplinary academic foundation across finance, taxation, and executive leadership, studying at some of the most prestigious institutions in Mexico. I am currently pursuing a Master in Finance at EGADE Business School, where I’ve strengthened my expertise in investment management, financial technologies, and strategic financial analysis. As part of the BBVA Clinic, my team and I presented an investment strategy for a multimillion‑peso fund, and I had the opportunity to open the pitch—receiving highly positive feedback from BBVA’s leadership.
