Jorge Zepeda

I’m a recently graduated mechatronics engineer, with basic experience in C/C++, C#, Python, AVR microcontroller programming in assembly/C++, and the CAN and I2C protocols. I also worked during an internship at the development of a desktop app used for CAN message handling and hardware testing. I’m eager to learn new technologies, programming languages & paradigms and the trends of tomorrow.

Activities

• Provided support and added features to a tool in C# used for testing automation mainly with CAN messages, including support and integration to the tool of a logic analyzer.
• Bug fixes, integration tests.
• Use of Jira and Git/GitHub.
• Basic CAN and I2C message recreation and tracing.
• Basic knowledge of the software/hardware testing process.

August 2018 - May 2023, Universidad del Valle de México Mechatronics engineering Activities:

• AVR microcontroller programming in Assembly and C++.
• General-purpose programming in C++/Java/Python.
• Basic modeling in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Use of the LATEX scientific document typesetting system.
• General electronics projects, use of multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.
