I am an engineer in industrial systems and technologies, with six years of experience in quality and manufacturing processes. I have worked for two large multinational companies, which are Eaton and Cummins.
I am currently hired at Eaton as an advanced manufacturing lead for the Engine Air Management group, where I am responsible for all new projects, get the estimations, RFQ, quotes, supplier selection, project management for new assembly lines, new machines, etc, and also I am in charge of coordinating little projects for the process and changes in product specifications. Also I'm in charge of Industry 4.0 develpment at Mexico, with new technologies such as Cobots, IoT, Autonomous AGV, etc.
When I was a operations projects engineer also at Eaton, I was in charge of some projects, like a visual controls project for the machining area, where having no PLC robust enough to send signals to indicate the production of each cell, opted to create a program, where the information that each operator introduced was collected, which was displayed on different screens that project a dynamic layout, which was key to having a better control of the cells, since it would be known who was not working. My previous experience was in the startup of a new assembly line in Cummins, where I was in charge of the introduction of a new gage that was not being used in SLP, as well as of MSA studies to leak testers, and development of control plans.
My colleagues know me as a person with character, and someone who feels better working in collaboration with others, since I don't try to impose my ideas, I prefer to spend more time understanding the business and people before giving ideas. For the same reason, I can always be trusted to come up with a new approach.
I have an engineering in industrial systems and technologies from the Polytechnic University of San Luis Potosí with expectations to study a MBA in a short-term.
