Mechatronics engineer with experience in automation proyects, sales and mainly as machine designer with proven experience in the automotive, food and gearbox industry. My design methodology is based on the requirements of the application. Depending on what the application needs, I size all the mechanical, electrical and control components of the system.
I rely mainly on using Excel to perform the fluid, kinematic and kinetic calculations of the system; and based on the calculated forces, I design the structural components based on the strain & strees calculated by the mechanics of materials and select the necessary machine elements like pumps, valves, gears, bolts, bearings, chains, cylinders, induction motors, servomotor etc.
