As a Food Chemist in East Asia Palm Products Sdn Bhd for 3 years. below are my job scopes:

• Implement quality assurance programs that effectively monitor product manufacturing in compliance with GMP’s, SOP’s, and HACCP. 
• Possess strong product development skills in oils and fats, material selection and formulation to highlight the value and functionality of the products that meet the internal and external customer requests. 
• Provide technical and quality related assistance to marketing departments or clients. Handle customers ‘complaints and product quality issues.
• Responsible for process control and leading process improvement efforts to refine quality assurance protocols, increase compliance with quality goals, as well as improve capability and process efficiency.
• Validating ingredient and ingredient vendors, preliminary costing and preparing nutritional and supplement facts panels as needed.
• Develop trial plans, designing and running test experiments for large-scale use in actual production.
• Involved in internal audit.
• Implement and maintain proper QAQC & R&D documentation system.
• Working knowledge of food regulations and food safety.
• Liaise with commercial and customer service departments in procurement, sales, technical services, as well as marketing and distribution. Also involved in marketing and development activities (such as product technical training, brochure design, attend local and oversea market visit, supplier visit and international exhibition
